Midtech states that they are from AGA Campolin. I don't know how they would get by misrepresenting Asian knives as being manufactured in Italy.

(One would think that it would catch up to them, and quickly).

Everything I saw on that site looked China to me. Not all China knives are junk, a lot of them are very well made but when they pass them off as something they're not that's the problem I have with them.

If AGA stands for Asian Gnife Association, then yeah they’re real AGA knives.

.

Here's my 13" AGA Campolin snakewood swinguard.
Dated 2009 on the ricasso. Massive knife -- 345 grams!
Bought it a couple years ago from a longtime collector.

MidTech has been selling those swingers for some time now, somebody in the review comments on their website suggested these are also not AGA. They are likely the same as sold on Wish and other such sources. I've seen these puppies everywhere, sometimes with the "Samsend" branding, very prevalent on DHGate, Wish, etc.

Now that said, if you don't mind them being Chinese, people generally say they are well made for the price. A fair rationalization, I guess. Peace.
