FAKE PICKLOCK !! Identification of 21cm picklock?

:evil: Hi Folks:
UPDATE >> Bought this on Sharper Deals this week. It is a converted swivel bolster. I am going to try and get my money back. F*CK!! Can anybody ID the maker of this 21cm picklock? Thanks.

Common brand name, I agree.....but a Herbertz picklock??? I'm dazed and confused.

I think Jackalope meant that the stamp was the importer who imported the knife into Germany from Italy. The knife may have been made through the Maniago cottage industry.

I don't remember ever seeing a herbertz picklock either, also looks to have a stainless non-swedge blade. Looks a little more modern but is a picklock, kinda odd.

I think this is the second modern-style German-import picklock that has shown up lately.

"Hal" had one on the auction for quite some time. Figures, I tried to find it to compare, but apparently, it either sold or he gave up.

I made that 12 years ago. It was a swivel and I turned it into a picklock. Here is the original post of the knife. I contacted the seller months ago to tell him it was not a factory knife.. https://www.sharperdeal.biz/forums/view ... z+picklock :

Hi Bill, Long time no see. I made this 12 years ago. I told the seller on sd it wasn't original. Still a fun knife though. Hope all is well
