I thought so. It works well, got some blade movement when open, but I hear they all do (not sure about that). I know little to nothing about this type of knife, I just thought it looked cool and it worked, so I purchased it.

Can anyone tell the how much these are worth? I may have overpaid, but wanted it.

I haven't seen too many Snappys (Snappies? Do you 'ie' the 'y' on a proper noun?) but it seems like most of the ones I have seen had the bolsters. So that might be a rare version of a rare knife.

See that little hole next to the bottom pin? There should be a bail there. It is actually a really easy one to make. You just get a .047" piece of music wire and bend it to a U shape with the two ends bending in to go in the holes.

I too just purchased one of these little tykes a couple of weeks ago. Yours is definitely different than mine. No ears or bottom bolster on yours, and it has a short blade.

That Snappy in the first pic is miniature of the Shur Shap. I think the Snappy is around 4" OAL.
