Auto Kits
I used to buy 90% finished blades (fixed blades), and the scale / handle material, and create my own knife. Did a few pocket knives (kits) that way also.
I was wondering, does anyone make an auto kit. Something that has the main parts, needs handles and maybe a little fit-up?
Just curious as I would love to build my own, but do not have the metal working skills to do so.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Auto Kits
The keychain mini kits are occasionally available from online sellers.... I got this one from Grindworx.
These are labeled "made in Italy" so presumably you are building a genuine Italian switchblade.
I would love to give a keychain switchblade to the Insurance Gecko and throw him into a sand-pit with the Insurance Emu for a fight to the death....
Personally, that smug reptile irritates the hell out of me and I would root for the Emu to bite the insufferable little vermin in half.

That poor little gecko is just trying to earn a living, I don't like him either.

Why does he have an Austrailian accent? Aren’t geckos from Asia?
Knife kits, I occasionally see the key chain kit ; Frank B made the 9” Atlas kit, but I haven’t seen one in a long time. It was very similar to the keychain kit, but in 9”.

Re: Auto Kits
Haven't seen auto knife kits in quite a while. Last one I saw was $30 in a local store, but you could buy on line an assembled knife for about that back in the day.
Re: Auto Kits
I find it ridiculous Geico’s ad agency could not hire someone who actually speaks with a Cockney accent.
