I don’t know if there’s a lot of interest. I’m into some of the Chinese mini switchblades. What do you have? How about some pictures?

Re: Vintage Keychain Mini Switchblades
Here's a Japanese Mini I bought recently. It's fully brassed lined, marked "STAINLESS STEEL", derby bolsters. Pretty cool little knife and in decent shape. It does have blade peak, which I think one of the other 2 Japanese Mini's I have also has. I guess that's probably common on these. Also has the weird missing pin look on the front handle but I've been told that's common on these Japanese Mini's too. Also, kind of a hair trigger button.
I'm wondering about a cutout portion in the liner approximately under the button. There's a small hole and then a bigger cutout area. What's going on with this? I can't figure out a purpose it would serve. Were the guys making these sometimes short on materials and recycled a piece of brass? That's about all I can come up with.
Thanks for any help offered!
