Robert Klaas Leverlock - Help Wanted!

Post by Twentymiles »

Hello!

I came across this board when searching for information about a Robert Klaas w/Kissing Cranes Leverlock my dad gave me. From what I’ve read, there are variants depending on where they were manufactured.

He said he picked this one up in the early 80’s from a friend of his. If anyone can help identify if this is a true German vs. Italian I’d greatly appreciate anyone’s input on it!

Here’s a link to the photos of the knife:

Thanks in advance!

Thank you sir!!

Since info is scarce on these, what do they go for nowadays for one in good condition? The quality on this guy is actually quite amazing! I have some of my collection(s) insured so I’d imagine it wouldn’t be a bad idea to include this one...

Thanks again!

Really a great piece! Interesting...the couple that I have are solid levers, but yours has the hole all the way through. I wonder if the levers may help determine age of production(?).
