Switchblade vs Folding Knife

Ganzo firebird FH61-GB in green g10 with D2 steel. I paid $30 for this little knife and wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. The detent is dialed in perfect for thumbing, spyderco flicking and it does both push button and light switching with the flipper tap. The g10 could be a bit more grippy but overall it's a great knife and not just for the price. Bought from https://www.amazon.com/stores/node/1615 ... 6154740011

Hi, Sammy! Me like Ganzo knives too. They really started to make good knives, as I read on their website, they have a new project called 'knife from the PEOPLE for the PEOPLE", now knife enthusiast can send them their designs and Ganzo can make that knives. I have quite a few Ganzos and for the money they are a very good knife, they also make autos!

Definitely agree with the posts. Switchblades are for collecting, or if you're a Mafioso then for killing. Everyday city carry I like my Cold Steel Counter Point 1. Heavy blade, opens as fast as a switchblade either with a flick, or thumb stud. In the boonies it's definitely a Randall Made Model 1, or for the economy minded it's a KABAR MK.2 Fighting Knife, choice of fighting men since WW2.
