Spyderco Citadel Auto!!

Post by magnum »

Just got my Spyderco Citadel Auto and wanted to write a small review on it and show the pictures of mine.

Specs:
Overall Length: 8 1/2"
Blade Length: 3 3/4"
Blade Material:CPM S30V Stainless
Handle Material: Anodized Aluminum T6 Hardcoat

This knife is Sharp right out of the box and is ready for business! The blade which is coil spring powered snaps out strong and locks up tight as a drum. The blade is centered both open and closed. The pushbutton and safety function flawlessly and with ease. The pocket clip can be put on the front or rear handle and the pivot screw is adjustable if needed. The knife feels good in my hand and would make a Nice EDC.There really is no need for the thumbhole in the blade but that is Spyderco's trademark of sorts and it wouldn't be the same without it.It does not come with a sheath but there is really no need as it has a pocket clip..All in all i think Spyderco's first auto knife is Very Well made and i think all who buy one will be pleased. This knife is made in the USA.Can't wait for the second one to come out :D

I really like that one. Looks like a good user, unfortunately it looks a little big to carry around. Seems to me mos knives have to much bigness to be have usefulness.

Thank you. Just a question - is this one the bigger of the two Citadels?

Switchblades are making a return to the common market it seems.

Typically Spyderco's are very well built, with excellent quality steel. This one looks no exceptions :D.
Best regards, Hadson.

My knife will not be stabbing any steel drums
