Post by FlyWire »

I recently purchase a Lightfoot clone, but have been embarassingly unable to find the "hidden release" button to automatically open the knife and would appreciate any help, thank you.

Hi Flywire ,
The front metal bolster moves sideways to activate the spring opening.

as you are holding the knife in your right hand, as in the bottom pic. you posted, push down on the front bolster just in front of the wood bolster in a rocking motion. the scale is the release! you'll figure it out.

Where did you pick that up? I've been unable to find un-serrated LCC clones.

That's not a picture of the clone- that's the real knife. I think it's just for illustration purposes.
