French and Italian in black

Post by last_vegas »

Hello, here is today's mail call - Bargeon and Frank B, nothing out of the ordinary, but it's not easy to find French knives here, especially in nearly mint condition.
Can you help to identify the Frank B decade of manufacture? 1970-1980s? It's a swivel bolster.

Very nice! I think the Bargeon is called model 817. What is the tang stamp on the italian?
I love the black and chrome examples myself!

Nice looking knives last_vegas. 8)
Lovely Bargeon in clean condition
The frank B is reminiscent of the Moletta knives from the70s / 80s.
I love the knurled plastic scales on both examples ,good find with these 2 .

Cool knives!

Before 1996 Frank's old tang stamp was lower case b (capital letter "B" was used by Renzo B)

Someone else may know what decade Frank made that style knife.
