Re: Wanted: Was 2, now 1 missing Walt's Classics 9" 2010 run

Only missing the Bone 9" 5mm 2010 run. If anybody knows of a source, I'd love to complete this 2010 9" 5mm Walt's Classic run. Walt pointed me to a few options (which is how I found the Stag), but no luck on the Bone. Certainly willing to trade; here are three options: 11" Walt's Classic 5mm 2010 ru...

Wanted: Was 2, now 1 missing Walt's Classics 9" 2010 run

Hi All
Hoping to finish my collection of Walt's Classic 9" 5mm stilettos, 2010 run. Here is what I'm looking for:

9" 5mm in Stag [2010 run]
9" 5mm in Bone [2010 run]

Thank you for considering

Chuck

Scales - Naming Descriptions

Some questions from a novice. What is the difference between a scale listed as French Tip Horn and a scale listed as Honey Horn? Another question: What is the difference between Brazilian Horn and Buffalo Horn scales, or is there? Thanks in advance. :?:

Re: Help

I too am new to knife collecting [Fall 2011], and too have purchased from Roadside. I've purchased 5 or 6 knives from him. On the surface, he makes it almost intimidating to want to return a defective knife. When I asked to return the 2nd knife I purchased from him, he said mail it in and he'll take...

Re: Walt's Classic Frank B 11" knives?

Hi Bernie and All: Thanks for the info. I contacted Walt directly, and below are a few of his e-mail responses to my questions. These two 11" 5mm FRANK Bs appear to be prototypes. The hollow bolsters were something I'd not noticed until he pointed it out. Hopefully you will find Walt's comments educ...

Re: Walt's Classic Frank B 11" knives?

Thanks for the info regarding the cat stamp on the 11s. What about the two 11s I have (5mm also) that are stamped only with Frank's common "FRANK B" over "ITALY". No stamp on the other side of the blade. Does anybody know the story on those? The seller sold them off the same section of his website a...

Walt's Classic Frank B 11" knives?

Hi Folks. I am quite a novice in knives, so, sorry for a dumb question. I own about five WALT'S CLASSIC of Latama 9" knives. All have the cat with "w" between paws and the red dot on the lock. I love these things, though there is no money left to buy a cheeseburger off the dollar menu. My question(s...
