Try some 0000 steel wool (don't bear down on it too hard. Then a dremel with a felt wheel and little polishing compound. After that some wax (I use renaissance) then a hand polish.

That knife is definitely sharpened on the wrong side unless it's meant to use like a Korambi or a Jambiya.
It would definitely be awkward to stab with, which iirc stilettos are meant to be used for.

This is one of the reasons that I have been buying Maniago knives that I'm fairly confident of their origin.
I'm not at all interested in giving any of my $$ to China; I know it's not much of a loss to them, but I'm tired of everything being outsourced to them.

There's an Italian seller on ebay; the stuff looks pretty good. Search frosolone knife I was just wondering if anyone has any firsthand experience with the products.
