Re: Microtech's ARE clones?

I agree a bad ones list would just be in bad taste. Not only that, you can't imagine the grief I have received over the years regarding the good ones list. A bad ones list would probably generate much more grief Jim I understand now why we don't have a bad one's list. If you're not on the good one'...

Vintage Due Buoi Grafting/Bud Knife

Hello Everyone, A little over a month ago I came across this Vintage Due Buoi Grafting/Bud Knife. Vittorio from Due Buoi estimates its age to be over 50 years old. It was my dad's knife. It's 6.5 inches with a 2.5 inch blade and 4 inch horn handle. The back spring was broken. I asked Bill DeShivs to...

Re: otf knives diagrams, drawings, etc. ..

Hello and Welcome Willows, Good luck with your OTF project. This is a great forum. There is a lot of information about knives here; this is, "The web's most friendly community on knives and blades." At times it may seem to be very unfriendly but that's because we are very protective of our forum and...

Re: Everyday carry knife

Hello Gentlemen, I want to let you all know that I am genuinely surprised by the goodwill. What I'm trying to say is that you guys care enough about me and I'm sure the other forum members to advise me not to carry a switch in MA: where everything is illegal. I've taken your suggestions and opinions...

OK, you convinced me to leave my switches at home. Here's today's EDC http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz153/john6553/2011-04-26_0002.jpg it's a 15" ham slicer with a 10" blade. All kidding aside here it is until I can find a nice spring assist. http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz153/john6553/In...

Re: Replacement spring for vintage leverlock

Hi Panzer,
That's a nice knife. It's worth sending it off to be repaired correctly or if you have the skill and tools I'm sure you can replace it without a problem. It does have a nail nick so I guess you can always use it as a folder.

Hello Rob aka Jagman,
The 2004 TB knife is awesome. I wasn't a member back then, but I w'd have gotten one. It's too bad there aren't any left; I wish I had one.

Hi Peter,
You have a real nice knife. I had one just like yours 13" with the swedge blade. It fired like a rocket locked up nice and tight. It's a great addition your collection.
