They are mistakenly advertised as AKC. It's a SKM made knife. and of very good quality.

So Rizzy's got D stamped liners? I always thougt that that was an old picklock trait.

Common brand name, I agree.....but a Herbertz picklock??? I'm dazed and confused.

I happen to have the same Jules. Purchased it from knife shop. One of my favorit knives. I think they wewre made right after the TSF run.

responding to emails is not one of their virtues as I mailed them several times for more details on a vintage knife in their antique section. On the other hand; I'm in the EU and they deliver fast. from my opinion it seems to occur mostly with natural scales. When they came out of the injection molding machine (acrylic scales) the quality seems to be much better. The SKM knives I got from 3k lately, are stamped " made in Italy" and don't have any major flaws.
