A beautiful knife, and I agree, quite a financial investment.

Re: Grandpa's Coricama Switchblade
It's a great little knife, for sure! The 4.5" one that sold on Arizona Custom Knives for $700, was actually a rare swivel bolster, which the fact that it's a swivel bolster Coricama in a rare size. But, your knife has definite big value.

Re: Sharper Deals auction site gone?
I hope Bob doesn't make the forum completely disappear, even if we can't post or comment there. There's still 20+ years of knowledge there that is still very valuable.

Re: Sharper Deals auction site gone?
Unfortunately, the FB version of SharperDeals isn't much of a sales or auction group. At least, no more than any other switchblade group. I'm not sure what Bob's original plans were for it.

Re: Three more guardian clones
The originals aren't an easy find these days. If you do, usually very expensive. I foolishly traded away my traditional stag Guardian, but was able to hold on to these two. I'm not even positive about the scale materials...

Re: Stiletto Dolphine 13 inch from Maniago
Are these knives nickel silver, fully lined D stamped and 2-piece slip in spring? I'm not knocking the knives, but seems the involvement is Lucio Di Bon picks out the horn, Francesco Mariani finances the builds and one of the Beltrame's builds them the same as they always have. I think the most "spe...
