Re: 7" Italian (Medici Style) Swinger

Thank you Ian...I love your honey horn version as well. Yes, this style is really very appealing to the eye (IMO). As of late, not sure why, some of the smaller swinguards have caught my interest. Being so small, the snap is surely a strong one. I once, and only once, heard this Italian version refe...

Re: New User

Hi Patrick, welcome. Great history & questions. I often wonder also, that if they can be purchased at Walmart or the corner gas station, what will happen to their value and mystique? Lots of questions to be asked and lots to learn...welcome again!

I actually thought even the manual ones were worth more https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Beauty-Italian-folding-pocket-knife-Made-In-Italy/232662519274?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 ...Like Bill, I'd be interested to view the other side. Assuming "super-sonic speed" means ...

Re: 9" Walt's Classic LE

Hey Bernie...Just noticing your 11" cat logo is without the tiny "W" in it. I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but just to clarify, does the lack of it indicate a first run piece (as I was told by the seller that sold me one without it)? Though I'm sure I was sold a first run piece, I'm...

Really outstanding custom work done on already gorgeous knives. With your collection Bernie, it's probably the 1st time you've even opened that box in 6 or 7 years! lol

Re: Could someone explain the lack of enthusiasm?

Is it my understanding that, originally, switchblades were never sharpened at all? Only meant to get one's "point" across? I have no interest in collecting auto knives used to skin beaver down near the creek. Probably why I very rarely visit the hunting knife or professional kitchen knives sections ...
