Re: Just bought a Troodon - Question - OTF - Microtech
Maxpedition sells a single sheath holster that works well with these, the flap is secured with velcro.
It mounts horizontally or vertically on your belt.
Do a search on Amazon for it.....
Around 20 bucks

Re: Just bought a Troodon - Question - OTF - Microtech
I just purchased two Combat Troodons, one with a Tanto blade, one with a drop point blade. Neither one do this, but my Halo V does do this, and the instructions with the Halo V knife warn you of this. I had a Scarab before returning it for a second Combat Troodon, i dont remember any peaking with it...

Re: Front opener!
I just purchased a MT Scarab, and a Combat Troodon. They are both awesome knives! Currently I'm carrying the Combat Troodon. It seemed a little big for pocket carry, do I ordered a Maxpedition single sheath holster, which works great. It closes the flap with Velcro instead of the plastic clips, whic...

Re: AKC OTF: good or bad?
The light duty OTF's that I own all have some blade play, but seem to work well...... BlackFinger 777 is a little chunkier than some of the AKC knives, but all seem reliable. There is a major difference between those and the Microtechs that I own, the Ultratech, Scarab, Combat Troodon, and the Halo ...

Re: Silicone Cloth For Knives ?
Guess it was worth a shot......
It left a waxy, coating that took away the shine.
Wiped it back off and it shines again.
Oh well!

Silicone Cloth For Knives ?
Guys,
I use a silicone cloth on my guns for rust protection.
Will that work on my knife collection without damage to scales or metal parts?
Just wondering.
It leaves a nice coating on the guns.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: $125 Microtech Ultratech
Yep, the Halo is very powerful when deployed and if you accidentally had a finger in the way, it would do some damage. My state is considering legalizing autos for carry and if they do, I would consider buying an Ultratech for carry and one of the small UTX-70s which would make a great little offic...

Re: $125 Microtech Ultratech
I bought one exactly like that for $190.00. Has the same blade too. My only problem is it takes both thumbs to open and close it! I also have a Halo V, and a side opening MT that looks like a Mikov. As someone pointed out to me on the other forum, the earlier MTs have a button that has a lower prof...
