Re: From Bowie to Switchblade

Dave...Sometimes I have difficulty being able to vision the outcome(s) of some things. This includes many things in life in general. Your designs are awesome, but again, I have a hard time being able to visualize from the lines to the finished product. So, when Fishtail mentioned the HP, I guess I t...

Re: FLAISH 07 Otf 2

The automatic knife has just been legalized in Texas. As long as the blade is less than 5" the knife can legally be carried in a holster/scabbard. In April of 2015, Oklahoma legitimized both ownership and carry of automatic knives. LONG, but interesting reading: Knife Rights Accomplishments (as of ...

Re: New Italian OTF?

As I mentioned earlier, these OTFs seem to really get cloned quite often and who knows what you're getting or where it came from? Just take this "Angel Blade" for example: https://www.3knives.com/en/product/2774/angel_blade_kk-auto13-blu.html ...If that's not an $1,800+ Microtech Halo (IV or V) clon...

Re: Chinese fake or 1980s F. Beltrame stiletto?

Welcome to Talkblade, Last Vegas! Your knife is a genuine Italian knife. I believe that is Frank Beltrames older stamp. At the risk of beating (to death) these older threads...I'm back to the world of confusion that I reside in, about this capital B over Rostfrei in script. According to this other,...

Re: The Knock off of a Rizzy

Jeremy...So that's what that bulge at the bottom bolster is? A "peak reducing liner thing". I always wondered why that was that way! So, they anticipate it's going to peak eventually? lol

Love the knife. (Her feet are sexy)! I'd like to see the rest of her. I don't know Fishtail...Every morning, I turn on the news and see yet another person (man) accused of some sort of "sexual misconduct". Congressmen resigning. Entertainment moguls accused of "lewd comments". Guilty until proven i...

Re: The Knock off of a Rizzy

But, what is it about the Rizzuto Estileto Milano that has eBay bidders going so over-board? The "movie switchblade"? Certainly can't be the quality. Other switchblades of much better quality aren't getting anywhere near the same attention.

Re: The Knock off of a Rizzy

I can't believe what this went for! They use to sell for $10..... I've been watching all the Rizzutos going wild on eBay Tom. I can't believe it! I'm not exactly sure what's going on. I saw a 7" go for $405, then the Korean clone you linked to for $425. Others in the $250+ area! They are also comin...

Re: The new lower-cost AGA F-16 D/A OTF stilettos.

Ahh Fishtail...the key word there is "hold" (a good edge). I can attest to the very sharp edge as it arrived, but alas, mine lives amongst the rest of it's Italian cousins in a glass display case. Sorry, not much help there.

Re: The new lower-cost AGA F-16 D/A OTF stilettos.

I got mine (black) from Bernie here. Very nice little OTF. Double springs and mighty sharp. No complaints.
