The Titan that you sent the link to is WAY WAY better that the knife that's the subject here. The extra money for the Titan(which is made in Taiwan) is very well spent. I have both. The Titan is a knife that you can actually use and even nicer than the Taiwan Lightning. JB

I think you're right about the scales - they look more like faux jigged bone. There's a small crack at one of the pins too. When it first appeared, there was a Buy It Now of (I think) $325. It is marked G. GRAFRATH-SOLINGEN. It looks nice. Do you suspect a fake, Al ?? JB

Great idea Al - how about a horizontal, bolster out, cross draw holster? You could grasp it with your thumb and forefinger by the indents on the bolster to draw. JB

xfootdoc: With the blade in the handle, release the black front bolster by pushing the small square button and pulling the bolster straight off, then sissor the handle to expost the blade.
