Re: Rizzuto picklock

Have you guys ever seen a manual humpback Rizzuto? This guy has one.

Wow! Never knew that existed. Those two guardless step bolsters are nice too! Especially the red one!

Re: Rizzuto picklock

Were these made before the swinguards? They seem to be a lot more rare. I’ve seen similar Japanese picklock stilettos without the Rizzuto markings.

AKC Gravity Knife

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XMqphngyvpQ Does anyone have one of these? I haven’t seen one for sale anywhere. I’m guessing they were a limited run. I like how it in all caps says “GRAVITY” on the blade printed in white on black. Like yeah, I think I get the gravity of the situation. LOL! Was wonder...

Re: Some of my favorite autos

Nice set brother! I have a couple of those EdgeCo knives. The 2nd and 3rd from the bottom. The little brass and wood leverlock and the pull to deploy knife, or whatever one might call it. I've had them both for decades, bought them back in the day straight from the Edge catalog! Bob has one of thos...

Re: White unstamped stiletto w/stepped pin

I have an EdgeCo swivel bolster folder, they stuck an Edge medallion where the fire button would go, it's Pearlex and stamped Inox, and I've another that's stamped Rostfrei. Neither is auto and were most likely produced on that contract with Beltrame back in the day. I will get some pics up in the ...

White unstamped stiletto w/stepped pin

Any ideas as to the origin of this knife? Flat grind blade with seer hole drilled through, no markings and a stepped sex pin. Is it Italian or Taiwanese? I know some of the old Frank B kit knives had the stepped sex pin. But weren’t a lot of the kit knives sold through EdgeCo from Taiwan as well? Ho...

Right, Tom. There was also the “Black Dagger” that had the look of the Super Automatic.

Re: GOM Switchblade Lever Knives

Mario, About 6 years ago, I bought a “Massaro shell puller kit” with a Damascus blade from the now-defunct switchblade kits website. It was sold in parts with no pins. Mine went together well. I used only pins and I attached jigged mesquite scales made from some scrap that my late father had. I, of...

Black Eagle Retractable Sheath Knife

Does anybody know where one might find one of these? Always thought they were a cool concept for a knife. An OTF that technically isn’t an OTF as the blade remains stationary and the only automatic action is a blade cover that shoots in and back out with a switch. I believe they were created to get ...

Where did you get it, if I may ask?
Snatched it up on Sharper Deals. Only got it because it was cheap and I really needed a shell puller leverlock.

Re: GOM Switchblade Lever Knives

I have a Damascus shell puller lever lock with a stag handle that’s marked INOX GOM, but I think mine is a China clone. It has a screwed in pivot while the rest of the knife is pinned.

Schrade Walden Paratrooper Switchblade

These were issued to paratroopers serving in Vietnam in the 1960s, correct? I know Camillus made some and Colonial now makes a modern version with a coil spring. I picked this one up for $45. The blade has a little up-and-down and side-to-side wobble in the open position and has some scratches from ...

Re: Imperial candy stripe with broken spring

Thanks for the tutorial and pics, Robb! This will be very helpful should I give this another shot in the future. I’m thinking about at least getting an anvil. That may help with hammering pins. I do have an old broken slip joint knife from Japan that has similarly shaped handles to the Imperial cand...
