Wow - that is an impressive set of batwings. I've always really liked the folding guard autos. I think it goes back to my early days as a kid seeing one or two in a movie. Super cool.

I've seen some really cheap-o pinless bolster models from Taiwan that have a "plug" inserted into the bottom bolster. The action on the ones I had like that was poor - weak springs. This one doesn't have the plug and is the only one I have seen like it. Not saying it is rare, because it might not be...

In that condition I would vote for leaving it alone - it's just too nice in its original condition IMO.

The ones I have seen that have any country of origin stamp have been Korea. There may be others, but I've only seen those.

Hi All - Kind of a rare old OTF for sale - SUPER-AUTOMATIC. Even though its definitely not a high-end knife by any means, it's still a piece of nostalgia for most of us and in that way it is a classic switch. This one is in excellent condition and has great action in and out. Pinless bolster design....
