Re: 60's Swedged Swinguard Stiletto Switchblade Set

Hi dave the position of the button on gunners knife is indeed a 1960's model only thing not original is brass safety, everything else looks original its just the safety thats all.
Thanks Bernie

Re: 60's Swedged Swinguard Stiletto Switchblade Set

Metalgod: I'm not saying that they didn't recently assemble swing guards with brass buttons, I'd just never heard of them. But I've got to disagree that one can simply say all those with brass safety caps are the "n...

Re: 60's Swedged Swinguard Stiletto Switchblade Set

Hi gunner not sure if you know or not the 11" with the brass safety is not 100% original, there were a bunch of vintage swings found a few years back with bad or no front and back handles and were re-handled and brass safety was added cause they didnt have original safeties available, i bought a com...

Re: Mauro Mario assistance would be appreciated

it very well could be made of buffalo horn , rams horn or stag handles as these are materials they used back in 1950's for their knives, pictures would be able to tell us more, hope this helps.

Re: New Improved Thick 11"ers

Hi Bill the new editions are supposed to have the bottom liner(full cut) covering the ears or guards ,the liners are also to be made thicker , the swivel bolster will be brass lined like the 60's transitionals, and all the bolsters are to be made of nickel/silver instead of stainless, not sure how s...
