There are 3 in the center of this picture.
Bill, those are Bonsa leverlocks with the aluminum handles in your drawer, right? Were those made in Germany?

Re: Like swingers? Like levers? How about both in one?

Picked this up about a month ago and can't complain for what I got with the price tag even though I found it cheaper elsewhere it could be I got lucky and got a good one IDK. Snaps with authority. Locks up tight with zero play in the blade. The guard has minimal movement. It's got heft, seems prett...

Whats the shellpuller with humpback and flat button? Is it a custom piece?

/ TMD
Yes, that’s a customized AGA Campolin Calibro.

Re: My new display set-up

Don’t know if any of you spotted it, but that’s an old WaltCo Safe-T-Sheath knife behind that Frostwood handle dagger. That’s a Taiwanese paratrooper knife sandwiched between the damascus leverlock and the gravity knife.

My new display set-up

I got this curio cabinet from some family last week as a house warming gift after my recent move. I finally got to display my switches, at least the bulk of them, in this beautiful thing. First shelf contains all my genuine Italian knives along with a few Chinese knockoffs, a 15” manual Lockback fro...

Re: Rizzy and medici values

I’d say the faux ivory Rizzy would be worth about $150 in that condition. Would be slightly more if the safety was functional. The black Bird’s Head Rizzy is probably worth $200 or more. The Medici is likely worth $175 or something like that in that condition. Would be much more if it had a working ...

Chinese doing shot shell pullers now?

Found these on Perry Knifeworks. https://www.perryknifeworks.com/item--milano-8-leverlock-shell-puller-automatic-knife-wood-3-5-polish/ It says it’s “Milano Italian-Style” and they’re $19.99 so they’re obviously not Italian. Shell pullers have become rather elusive in recent years. It’s nice to see ...

EdgeCo Leverlock Repair Video

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Az3e5PGlYfw&pp=ygURZWRnZSBjbyBsZXZlcmxvY2s%3D I’m confused by how exactly he broke this knife. He’s saying he broke the “bar” but it appears to me it’s the pivot pin he’s talking about. The bar I think would be the locking tab that holds the blade closed. How the fuck d...

Re: New Frank B picklock

I guess PVK still has them as those are the highest prices I have seen. Never bought from them, but when the China made Magos came out and they sold them for $140 claiming they were from Italy, they lost a future customer in me....The 11" Frank B 2.0 are $60+ more than anyone else.... PVK has been ...

A lot of autos have been showing up for sale on Amazon in recent years. I saw these Russian swinguards along with those Mikov-style Chinese leverlocks the other day.

Always thought this one looked like a Pakistan knife. I got a couple Pakistan leverlock switchblades with a similar lever and bolsters.

Chinese manufacturers being more clever?

So I’m sure you’ve seen all the Chinese “AKC” variant stilettos that have been flooding the market. It’s gotten so bad that AKC themselves are now having certain knives manufactured in China like the Roma swinguards and those curved stilettos under a banner called AKC World. One of those “if you can...
