My opinion is: most people collecting these knives don't want them sharpened. There are better choices for the serious slicer or someone who relies on knives for their occupation. I tend to believe that most carbon steels make better cutters and when I get one sharp enough to shave hairs off my arm,...

Certainly the smaller version is within reality in any scales and blade combo, but I think the price of $40 is like the old hound baying at the moon. Whether mangling an existing knife or redesigning the size, it takes time gentlemen and unless it was feasible for a production run, the parts involve...
