Unusual Pick Lock Mechanism?

I picked up a parts knife , at a gun show several years ago. The locking pin appears to be a flat ended rectangle, unlike any lock pin I’ve ever seen. It’s similar to the old sure snap knives. I don’t have the blade that came with the knife. Any idea who made this? Thanks, Joel

Found this one the other day, just needs a little clean up, and the companionship of other stilettos. I’m hoping it will be comfortable.
