Re: Why doesn't Campolin make a light horn picklock?

Thanks Bill. I knew it had to be much more complicated than I would have thought. I'm sure Angelo would have obliged if possible.

Re: Why doesn't Campolin make a light horn picklock?

I had written back & forth with Angelo a short time ago, asking if he could basically re-scale a current item that he had in stock with a material he was using on another item. In my simple mind, and we discussed it, all that had to be done was a simple cut (since the new material was obviously avai...

Re: Why doesn't Campolin make a light horn picklock?

Even Angelo's online store doesn't offer in light horn. Only Brazilian, Stag, Abalone and Imt. Pearl. I think the best option would be to have one re-scaled. But, that may not be cost effective at all. I really have no other ideas.

Are you referring to the 11" Anniversary Picklocks? Come to think of it, you're right. I don't recall much of Angelo's pieces in blonde horn.

Re: Several knives :)

Very nice indeed! Wow, the 2 inch difference between an 11" and a 9" really makes a BIG difference. Makes the 9" look so small. Really like the LE Frank B Picklocks though. Not so often available here.

Re: 13" Walt's Flatguard

When was the last production run? Must have been a real limited run. Even the 11" AGA Flatguard Picklocks in 2016 were only limited to 150 pieces.

Re: Which are the best quality Switchblades?

I just learned that Buck is producing its 110 Auto Elite. The "Elite" meaning that the knife sports an S30V blade. It retails directly from Buck for $250.00. This is good news because Buck's quality is legendary and the S30V blade is about the best steel you could have on an automatic Folding Hunte...

Congrats Fishtail! Very nice piece. Rick had just told me during the holidays that he was awaiting a box of presents from Angelo and apparently came through. I know you'll love it!
