Leverletto questions

Hi guys, i am starting a leverletto kit, I have a couple of questions. Scales, Is it tough to hide the long part of the sear assembly? And what thickness do I need the scales to be? I am trying to get some ordered and like the look of the knives without seeing the sear in the middle of the handel Al...

Re: Mikov

I love mine, not the same model however it's the same action! I was presently surprised at the quality. I think a Mikov is one of those "must have" European knives.

Re: Bushcraft blanks?

Yes I suppose I am looking for full tang. Basically all I am looking for at this time is to make and put the scales on. Kind of just feeling my way around too see if knifemaking is going to be something I would like to presue or not. Iam finding out that there are some pretty large costly items need...

Bushcraft blanks?

Just wondering if anyone may know where I can get some small blanks? I am very new and would like to get started with some blanks first. I really like the very small and very sharp bushcraft type knives. I think I could really use this type of blade as an EDC.
Thanks

Any suggestions for a smallish edc? I have a mini lever lock, however pocket lint etc.. Fouls up the action! I work in the field and everything get pretty dirty! Is an auto a lost cause in this situation?

Keywest knife works?

Has anyone had any luck with key west knife works? Just curious about the delta knives? They seem to be not quite as costly as some other otf's. I can't seem to find much info on those knives. Is that my clue? It is really hard to tell quality on the web!

400-500$ seriously?

I have searched tons and tons of auto knives on the net, and continue to come across very high dollar what appear to be production knives. I have a couple of questions about them. We are not talking custom we are talking microtech etc . 1, are they really worth it? 2, if so why? I mean you can buy a...

Re: Mini akc lever lock blade peek

Not a kit. It's a beauty just a bit of peeking, I would just prefer the blade seats in the handle just a tiny bit more.

Mini akc lever lock blade peek

How do you repair blade peeking on an akc mini lever lock? Can you do it without removing the scales? Mine is real stag scales and I would rather not remove them if I did not have to. Any suggestions?

Leverletto

Bill what do you think about removing the guards on the leverletto? How do they look? I feel like I may like the look of the leverletto with out the guards. I recently purchased a mini leverlock and love the knife and would like one bigger with the same look. Also, is there any way to make one with ...

Re: Let's make a Mikov

Ok so after reading this post, and not thinking things through enough I followed the advice to file the sear a bit more square. Now I perhaps may have filed a bit too much off. I believe that when I put the thing together the blade will have a bit of play in it? My sear is rectangular in shape. And ...
