thanks for the advice, i dont think i need a locked safe yet (i dont have nearly as big or shiny collections as you guys) i think i stick to one of the chests or tool boxes you suggested.

does anyone know where one can purchase these handy "knife chests" that several of you more experienced guys seem to have . at the moment all my knives are stuffed in a drawer and its getting pretty crowded in there.

sorry to comment on such and old thread but as a native alaskan i take offence to these being called ulus these are chinese pieces of crap. a real ulu is pictured below. those are tourist trap knives.

yes i would like to see that too! half the italian knives just say "rostfrei" on the blade, and thats a german word! i would like to see a good (smallish) company logo or even a "made in italy" stamp.
