Actually about 5 or 6 but when I need the other files, they are worth there weight in gold.

Diggaway, The button only works for opening the knife. If you will notice, there is more than 180 degrees in the arc. I have the holes in there so I can adjust the tension on the spring. Also after the knife has been cycled a lot, sometimes it will slow down. The extra holes allow the knife to be adjusted back up to speed. Just those few degrees of tension will make a big difference in the opening speed of the blad...
