Your balisong are getting better and better. Did you use the Terry Guinn tutorial for that one?

Re: Battle Angel Alita Blade

You can buy baliswords in a few places. I have actually seen people use them, although they are used more like nunchaku then a balisong. They look awesome when they are swinging but if you want to learn be very carful.

Re: What would you suggest?

Yes, I will collect ones I like but I am asking what are considered classics to have in my collection. I just want to put together a collection of some choice pieces. I know that knife collecting gets to be an obsession, that is why I am moving to autos now from balisongs. After some side openers, I...

Real pearl is very fragile when working it.
I thought it was very hard to work with. Either way it looks quite good.
I am considering using such material on a new peice. Can I ask where you bought it?

Re: 304 Bali and lock back

One other thing I learned.. Bali's and double edged blades don't mix...lol. Oh well live n learn n get cut.... CC That bali looks very similar to Pakistani balis from the 80's. They also had dual side blades...BUT one side had a kicker, a part of the blade near the pivot that was just flat and unsh...

I have never seen a lockbar like that, although I am fairly new to the autos.. Interesting.

That is real MOP right? Is it hard to work with?

Very nice. Can I ask the purpose of the indent in the side of the scale, is that for your finger?

Great info thanks!
Do you personally do file work? If so any pointers or information?
What files would you recommend?

Re: What would you suggest?

I have owned other switches i the past...I am looking for classic collectors pieces but I think the 11" Italian stiletto with bayonet blade and dark horn or black acrylic scales is pretty much a classic. I am building a pair of matched Mikovs for L & R and a Leverletto kit also. I like the styling o...

What would you suggest?

I have always been a balisong collector but I have considered moving to the auto's. I would like to collect some choice peices. Can you guys suggest what would be considered "THE" side openers to have? I am not talking about custom expensive knives. I am speaking more of knives considered classic co...

Re: Mikov Kit questions?

I already read the how to thread on the Mikovs. I appreciate the info and I guess I have a shopping list now. Thanks again. Edit, do you know the sizes of the jobber bits? I have very limited tools so I have to purchase everything I need in terms of bits, screws, tap kits etc. If you have a basic lis...
