God Bless Ya Ron!

I was shocked to hear of Ron's passing....been unable to write til now... :( I once told Ron that I was a fan of the English R&B guitar band The Shadows (sort of a British version of the Ventures) and he told me he was very familiar with them too. He downloaded a song ("The Warload" by the Shadows) ...

Ban the friggin' troll

I say ban the troll...there are far too many of them invading TB. Silly me, I find the existing cameraderie of the normal ( ) forum members and their shared wisdom, acserbic but friendly wit, good-humored diatribes etc. adequate amusement without the added influx of troll beastiality, crass,...

And to think we allowed such a protracted, delightfully intriguing and intellectually thrilling thread initiated by a simple scientific discussion of the warpage/shrinkage of imitation horn scales on the Italian stilleto to sink to such low levels..    Why is this Shadow birdbra...

If those are clones Mr. Jerr, I will eat my shorts.

I've bought several of the GF clones and they are not even close to the real things you have so cleverly depicted. Nice GF collection Jerr!

Damascus Italian

I have a damascus bladed Leverletto that is quite sharp. I honed it up on a set of ceramic crocksticks. You can shave a baby's ass with it.

Boker Magnums

IMHO, the Boker Magnums are a good buy for the money. I have six of them, three in the large size and three of the minis - different blade configurations. My only criticism is the plastic locks on some of them will not stay in the locked position or can fall into the locked position making it necess...

My First BM Bali

Just got my first BM Model 42 with semi-serrated Weehawk blade and pocket clip last week from New Graham. Best price out there at 137.50 plus shipping. The clip is small and flat and does not interfere with my flipping, but then I am not an officianado of flipping (yet). The knife is a jewel of craf...

God Bless!

Mr. Missaman, Mr. Edge, Mr. Jim D, God bless you and watch over you and your loved ones. I lost my Dad back in 1982 and three of his brothers to emphysema/lung cancer. All were heavy smokers during their lives. I quit smoking at Thanksgiving of this year when home visiting my Mom and Brothers, but I...
