Re: The Best "Oil" Ever, I Swear!!
i maybe off base and get a lot of slank. use diamond and save the oil for your car. i used oil for years and got diamond stones and dry cut and have not looked back since. used on 420 hc,440c and s30v and it works. oil and water collect particles and balls up in the fluid and causes the stone to not...

Re: s30v knife steel- has anybody tried it?
thanks for the repleys. buck knives seem to come with a angle of 27 degrees or so when you put the lansky sharpener on the blade and hold it up to the light. i set mine at the 25 degree angle and recut. lansky does not come with that angle, the next one down is 17 and that is too much. i have cut ou...

New Buck Line 440c ss
Hey fellows check out the new line of 440c ss folding pocket knives that Buck has got out, not the old 420 hc. This is a very good pocket carry knife. I bought a trio B373 at Dantes Knifeworks over the internet for 19.00 bucks. It holds a better edge longer than the 420 hc version. It is also be fou...

Buck stockman 301
Buck 301 stockman knife, infro. on the blade is Buck u.s.a. 301 with no dots either side. Buck's web site dates this knife at 1975 to 1986. Is their any way of getting a better date on the knife, 11 years is not very close? Any comments
