Damn, Sam! I want you to kick back and get well. Get some massage therapy (not one with the "happy ending"). Lots of external alcohol rubs and relaxation, and get checked for internal injuries and/or hematoma.
Stick around, champ.

Re: Blackjacks, Flat Saps and other impact self-defense implements.
This American maker produces excellent quality "attitude adjusters":

Those are nice, but expensive. I bought two more blackjacks (one is 14 ounces and the other is 10 ounces. They're rounded lead cylinders mounted on springs wrapped in polished leather. The rest ...

Blackjacks, Flat Saps and other impact self-defense implements.
Does anyone else have these? I have a Denver 4-ply Flat Sap and a light(er) 8-ounce Blackjack. (I am also acquiring another 14-ounce Blackjack.).
These are excellent "attitude adjusters" when people get "physically stupid".

Inexpensive Chinese "working knives".
I don't see the downside of buying inexpensive Chinese working knives. They are simple automatic knives that.
a) Aren't stilettos,
b) Are not more than $30.00
c) Are useful as tools.
