Re: Spring assisted
30 % of CRKT knives are assist. the M16 line has a flipper, push it hard with your finger and flick your wrist.it isn't an assist, but it can open just as quickly.kershaw has alot of assist knives. smith & wesson just came out with a few assist models. there are alot of knives to choose from.you jus...

Re: Spring assisted
I don't know where it's legal to carry one anywhere. you'd be better off using an assist.would look alot less suspicious if you were questioned about anything. even with a CCP it doesen't cover autos. if I go out at night I carry a CRKT M-16 big dog. nudge the flipper and flick your wrist and it's o...

I have an arc angel bali I don't want to sell but need to raise funds to pay a vet bill. my bengal kitty had a mass in his kidney and when he was operated on they found it was cancer so they put him to sleep. my baby was only 6 years old  am selling the bali for $125 to help cover the $450 bill...

Re: old or new
I only sold a few autos. most were folders and telescopic batons.the techs were the ones who I did most buisness with. one time they bought 4 folders each.the night they came in the techs were showing them off to each other during the shift. 16 knives floating around the production floor. most every...

Re: ever stabbed yourself like this?
I was told about a guy who would do sharpening at gun shows.someone brought him an old pen knife to sharpen and on the first stroke the blade broke off and stuck in his chest. the person who owned a knife was more concerned about the knife being broken than the other guy bleeding out with a blade st...

Re: old or new
I used to carry a knife at work. what kept me from getting ratted out was I'd sell the potential ratters a knife. now they could get in trouble for buying a knife from someone at work.I corrupted the whole3rd shift, even the boss. I'd bring in fixed blades, folders and autos and was immune to being ...

Re: Good knife or not
any of the columbia M16 or M21 or just about any folder of theirs would be a good buy.you push on that flipper and flick your wrist and it'll come open in a blink. they're not good for autos, but as a regular folder they're prob one of my fav brands. another well built and extremely sharp knife is t...

Re: Good knife or not
I have the pharoah and anubis. they are both sturdy knives but suck as autos.they squeak out slow, not lightning fast like most autos do. the major drawback is you have to hold the safety bar back as you push the button. I cant wait to get rid of them. the HK is your best bet.made by benchmade with ...

Re: are these good?
I like bear because they're heavy. on this one the handle surface is irregular so it's easy for me to hold onto. the other one has ivory handles.a little slicker.
Re: Hi,
I read some posts on another forum where people were saying it doesen't always lock open.

Re: are these good?
I have 2 bears, mostly for display.they don't have a warranty on their balis so I rarely flip them.I stick with cold steel or benchmade.I can tighten the pivot screws when they become loose. MTech has screws you can adjust as well and they're only 7 to 10 bucks.
