Jim, . . . On reflection, it seems to me that animal horns of all types are curved to begin with, and that pressing or cutting them flat wouldn't change their nature permanently. And as you've probably observed at one time or another, objects generally revert to their internal "preload" eventually ...

I was checking out the site and IO like what I see,any local store that deal these? Online only I think. I bought mine at a gun show. One of my favorite locat knifemakers (Allan Warren) uses the professional version of this unit, and he recommended it. They are less expensive online. Try http://www...

Hey Ed, this system allows angles between 15 and 27 degrees, and you don't have to use wood shims to get your angles right!
