Re: INDIANA OR JNDIANA?

They were always marked with a "J."
Jindiana was not a maker, but a consortium of makers- a cooperative or wholesaler of Maniago cutlery from many makers.

Re: Beautiful french knife

The French have been using screws on autos since at least the 1960s.
The handles appear to be ivory, and the knife has not been rescaled. They are pinned on.
It looks like the knife could be disassembled easily with the screws.

Re: Inner workings of the Hubertus Pen Blade Release

You are correct. If you notice, the tang on the pen blade is cut at an angle. This allows the pen blade to lift the sear to open/close the main blade when the pen blade is pushed.

Re: Old Italian knife

Pictures of the back spring and blade well would be welcomed.
It's difficult to see how the handle is unlined, but has a metal rear bolster.

Re: herbertz knifes

They are Herbertz knives.
None of them are switchblades.

Herbertz is a German importer/exporter.

The two folding knives were made in China.

Re: Snake’s Head Mexican Fighting Knife

The handle inserts are cow horn. The blades were acid etched with logos after the blades were finished. Someone probably ...
