BQ finally got XXL Kalashnikov back in stock. Bought one and its a Huge Beast. Like it so far, good weight, snaps out with authority. Will be making a leather sheath for it. Its just a little to big for every day pocket carry. Thanks to all who replied.

Bill, I'm trying to fix blade peek on a Mikov that I'm putting scales on. What would be best fix ? Here are some pics. Excuse the finish still a lot of hand sanding and polishing to go. Thanks in advance for any help or comments.

I'm trying to color clear epoxy.I found a few places on net on diffrent ways to do it.But would like to find a way from people who I feel have been there done that.
1)Ink toner
2)lamp black
3)laundry dye
If any other ways please let me know.

Vagrant,How about taking the quills and sewing him an Indian style collar.
Cut the ends off quill.Pass thread or dental floss thru quill and sew them on a leather collar.Just a thought.The quills can be dyed any color.If he keeps this up he will have enough to make collar plus a breast plate.

Yes it does have full brass liners.Now who would be the best to restore this switch?Scales are chipped and cracked and warped.What would be a estimate of price after being restored?

I had a buddy give me a switch here recently. Its about 13-14" long dagger blade picklock with light horn scales.Its marked EIG Cutlery Italy. Found a tang stamp pic on another site but no info.
