TalkBlade.Info Knife Forums

Thank you!

This is exactly the kind of insight and advice that I’m looking to receive from the group.

IMG_2271.jpeg No markings on this knife but the style is southeast Asian and likely 19th century, according to the all knowing AI search engines.

It was tucked away at my father’s house and I received it after he passed.

I believe it was my stepmother’s, who processed him in passing. I recall ...

I did some online research but I’d love to get an input from the group about this sword.

It appears to be an authentic U.S. Civil War-era M1832 Foot Artillery Sword,

There’s no maker’s mark on it.

It’s a beautiful piece.

I appreciate it guys! Now I’m gonna work on figuring out posting pictures, to share some of my collection, and hopefully learning more about them.

Hi everyone,

I’ve gathered a variety of knives over the years, mostly hunting or woodworking rather than as a collector. After much kind persuasion and a few veiled threats from the wife I’m “organizing”. Happy wife happy wife…

And I realize, I’ve got some cool stuff.

Looking forward to learning ...
