Perhaps it may also be of interest to others: through a friend, I learned that the R-V acronym was from a French importer/distributor, but the knife was made by the Beltrame company, Italy.

it was cleaned just before the photo, the magnet says it is not steel...

Info for this 13" sweevel bolster

Hi, I'm looking for information on this 13" sweevel bolster switchblade, short safe travel, button, lined nickel silver tang and guards, 5mm thick blade swedge. The heel is stamped with "rostfrei (?) R-V".

Sweden balisong

Hello everyone, I would like information on this "butterfly" knife. I know it was made in Sweden as a hunting-fishing knife. It has a scaler, a bottle opener and a screwdriver on the blade. The grip latch is spring loaded. Overall it seems well made. When was it produced? Is it currently produced?

Hi everyone, some knives on sale, especially vintage ones, have blades that don't close perfectly. What's wrong? is it repairable?
