Re: Abalone How Do They Do It

Re: brazilian horn

This topic had come up about a decade ago . . . not just about horn. It's problematic in all collections, Familiar Terms don't match the reality of materials. Most Mexican Souvenirs are from Japan. . .at least in the 1960's. I recall a kid bringing back a Rizzuto from a trip to Spain. . . I thought ...

Re: Coil spring straightening

You're Doing it the hard way . . Unless you WANT to learn heat treating. I never had much luck . . but I didn't try very hard. I'd start with big piano wire, for a straight kick spring in a Rizzy. Buy it on eBay. Cut it and cold bend it just once. . no re-bending. . . Buy smaller wire to wind a coil...

Re: Roofing Tales Of Madness...

I celebrated "the Ides of March" with a Lunch of Cabbage and Noodles w/ Little bits of bacon . So I "stabbed" some pickled beets out of the jar for dessert . . . And I plan to surf the internet for forgotten info on the Man from U.N.C.L.E. pistol P-38 . . . So . . the topic of Celebrating a stabbing...
