I have a 9 inch Frank B Classic with a broken spring. Is this worth repairing, or would that cost more than it's worth?

A damascus stiletto was used to stab a character to death in The Blacklist. Looks like a dagger style. The knife was distinctive enough as to help track down the killer, known as Damascus.

I suspected the knives might have been disabled, with the lack of a loud click in the first video and the wrist flicks the actors give when opening them.
