Re: Piranha "Fingerling"
. I would definitely want an extremely sharp blade for a "church knife" so I could slit my own wrists and bleed out. I was forced to go to Sunday School for years as a kid and will never sit through another long boring sermon again. . I'm with you there. My sunday school and church experiences were...

Re: Double Markings and overlaid sear hole
The font looks like courier. I don't recall seeing many Italian knives using that font.

Re: Indiana 9" Swinguards
Josh is still involved in PVK. PVK are still hit and miss. Some will defend him and the business tooth and nail. If you do buy from this company proceed with caution. When was your last order? I don't know the history people have had with PVK, but I can say my orders went through without a problem.

Re: Information About NATO Military OTF
Here are my well used and still functioning Natos. The bottom one is one of two (mentioned earlier in this thread)I bought when I was in in high school about 35 years ago. The black blade, button, and rear scale are all scavenged from a broken Edgeco. Super Automatic kit. The original blade is below...

Re: Information About NATO Military OTF
Yup. I bought two of these in kit form, for $20 shipped, from an ad in Guns and Ammo magazine. It must have been around 1988 as I was still in high school. I still have one of them. It's beat to shit, but it still works

Re: Quality
The AKC lever locks are nicely made. My Frank B 11" swing guard is good, no complaints from me. I have a horn scaled Campolin Dominus, I like it, but it is no better quality wise than the offerings from AKC for less money. I am not opposed to a Chinese made knife, as long as the offering is not a co...

Re: Quality
I know I'm wandering of topic a bit but; I get the impression that all OTF's have a safety mechanism meaning that if you put the knife against something like a cardboard box and push the trigger it will stop and not penetrate the box. IMO this renders them about on the same level of usefulness as a...
