The other knife to the left, looks like it classifies as a "false button", It is meant to look like a switchblade but was probably made after the switchblade ban in the 50s, when switchblades no longer could be legally imported.

Someone here knows probably more.

Thanks Tom!
I have lightly sanded the scales and applied wax, the horn feels much better, not as dry. but visually its not a big difference.
Should I sand it more or what do you guys think?

Refresh old horn scales?

Hello
I have an old manual stiletto with some poorly aged horn scales, is there a way to make them look better?
I dont want to ruin anything. just curious if there is something to be done.

Very nice! I think the Bargeon is called model 817. What is the tang stamp on the italian?

Yes Bill is right, its a Spanish CETME bayonet, the blade looks full and is supposed to have the bolo shape.
