New AGA Campolin 9" Ringpull---

A few months ago, I bought a new dark horn AGA Campolin 9" Ringpull, bought it from one of the good dealers on the forum but sadly, have to turn right around and sell it, I had asked that it be straight, sit deep enough in handle when closed and have a decently strong spring---well, it has all that ...

need a Mikov

Gentlemen, Iv'e been out of the country for awhile and before that, had a good friend beg, plead and whine until I sold him my Mikov. Of course now I wish I'd kept it. What would be some suggestions from some of you on which dealer or outlet I should try for a replacement? Thanks in advance for what...

older style?

my brother has a beautiful switch, dark bone, bayo blade, 9", picklock. Blade is stamped Rostfrie, Italy. The handle scales are faired into the bolsters perfectly. Would that be due to this is a much older knife and they are not made like this now, or can a switchblade made like this still be bought...

new 9"---

Just got my new 9" Frank B. from Cool Hand Cutlery today and it's a beauty. Great polish job on the bayo blade, held together with tiny screws, gorgeous white pearl scales and very straight. Has a powerful spring and looks like a million bucks---only concern is release button pushes pretty hard. Wil...

A rebuild

I have already posted on the main forum, but thought I ought to ask some of you rebuilders my question. Iv'e got a simple 9" Frank B with a possible broken spring. Working normally, average snap, and then suddenly barely falls out of the handle under power. My friend says looks like a crack in the s...

Re: I need help

The knife was working normally when I shipped it last week. He said it worked great for awhile and suddenly quit opening right. No offense, but I don't think it's the limp wrist thing. He did mention that it looks like there is a "V" shaped crack in the spring. He shipped it yesterday so I'll have a...

I need help

I sent a Frank B. 9", bayonet blade with the dark green acrylic scales to a friend of mine as a gift. He is sending it back due to what I think is a broken or cracked spring. Says it lost it's power and just barely comes out. Is there a site, or where can I get a new spring, pins and even a set of s...

Ruben, very much like that. Iv'e been looking for a simple design, no downcurve to the spine, very slight upcurve to the point. The size is just right and your craftmanship is top drawer. Keep the pictures coming, JR

To be added to the above list: Drill the pivot holes a little straighter and the blades will be straighter.-----take the time to make sure the edges of the scales, liners and springs are ground to match----check each knife before it is shipped to insure safety works properly and knife opens and lock...
