Re: Fake Hubertus
Hi, I have one of what looks to be one of these. It’s a piece of junk compared to the “other” Hubertus knives I have. Just verified it again: won’t open fully with the lever alone, feels cheapish...just something about it always felt off. I might have purchased it (in maybe 2015?) from a seller ment...

Re: PISCITELLI DARK SMOOTH RAM NICKEL SILVER MASTERPIECE
Honestly, I appreciate the written language the OP, Andrea, uses here. I actually find it charming. To a degree it could even be used successfully as an affectation. I read it and annunciate the words in my mind with my interpretation of an Italian accent over broken English. I can hear the passion ...

Re: Custom shell puller leverlock
Those shell pullers just never get old to the eye. This one is no exception. Cool.

Re: My new Shell Puller is getting stuck
I picked up my SKM 8" Hunter shellpuller today for a few flicks, and the same reason you are experiencing inspired me to "pop in". Something else you might want to try is always hold it with a firm grip. If one were to hold a lot of leverlocks out there with a light grip, the lockup isn't as solid. ...

Re: Humorous Switchblade Anecdote
Pretty funny, did you happen to see what brand of knife it was? Well, it wasn't an OTF, and it wasn't a stiletto, it was your newer utility-type switchblade, probably a 3.5" blade (black), dark green handle maybe. I'll have to ask him to let me see it up close. when ever I have to attend sub-...

Humorous Switchblade Anecdote
So I'm at my weekly Tuesday Business Networking International meeting (BNI), and I am sitting at a horseshoe - style table arrangement along with 20 or so other business professionals. Only one company from any respective business type is allowed in each local chapter - and I'm the general contracto...

Re: Other German Leverlocks
Heck, guys, what about Weidmannsheil? There's a dandy of German springer on the link above that was provided by fastr19 a couple of months ago. (I guess the old item isn't found, but you can select the Weidmannsheil from the list to the left). Question is, is anybody making a true quality solid she...

Re: Steletto Siciliano?????
I had one of these with a snakewood handle, if I remember correctly I bought it for $60 about 12 or so years ago, just sold it for $75 or something around there.

Re: What's in Bill's Drawers?
Indiana camper. Brand new. Woo-wee! Oh please tell me where your mother-in-law shops! I haven't been looking lately, and the last new age shellpuller I saw on the market (and own) is the AKC 8" Hunter. Is someone out there FINALLY making a quality shellpuller? A quick search for Indiana Camper gets...

Re: What's in Bill's Drawers?
Holy smizzokes I could spend hours looking over those ratchets. I've never seen a collection quite like it, even at a show from a dealer. Great stuff.
I just ran across Mr. DeShivs' name on a firearm forum too... I wonder what's in your gun vault, sir?

Re: Import Stamp
Misleading creeps. Seems to be a Catch 22. I should mention the box didn't have any country of origin stated on it either, and I looked all around it. Marbles knives all used to be made 45 minutes down the road from me in Gladstone/Escanaba, MI. I know all Marbles folders are made in China now. I st...

Import Stamp
Recently I purchased a Marbles knife I never saw before called the Hunter (MR506), thinking I was getting a great deal at $35 because it didn't have any stamp on the tang indicating it was from anywhere but the U.S. But, I looked into the knife, and you can get them for as little as $20 online here ...
