I know what you mean. They certainly attracted us as kids wishing they were switchblades. Here's a couple favorites from my small collection...

Nice! I don’t have a single 4 pin mini like those. They fetch a good buck ($).

Re: Japanese picklocks
The Japanese copied the Italian picklocks with these in the 50's. Then, they copied the Italian swinguards in the 60's with the Rizzuto Estileto Milano. They usually seem to stay under $200, with a few exceptions.

Re: Latama 12CM Picklock Closeups
Beautiful! I believe Bill just restored one very much like that. I learned there’s some sort of pearl laminate over the celluloid (if I understood correctly). Or, maybe the pearl was over horn(?). I’m losing my memory.

Re: Boker improved cutlery
... Interesting that all the 'dolphin' knives shown are only in the 13" size.... nothing else. ... I’m not exactly sure which you’re looking for. Re: Knuckle leverlocks
I’m sure there must be a way to wrap those knuckles around your fingers and deploy the blades, but I just can’t figure it out . I think the knuckle OTF’s would be much easier.

Nice! I have a similar example stamped Jndiana Extra, also Italian, that I believe I paid in excess of $350 for. It’s been a while, so I think that’s what I paid. So, you stole that one! .

I’m fairly certain they are brand new builds. I highly doubt Angelo would hold back on making money .

Re: Campolin/Lepre Black Widow
What are the chances that these guys will make another run of this knife? I get the impression from the shellpuller thread that this is not always a certain thing with the Maniago cutlers. As mentioned above, they're back! They've just about doubled in price since the original prototypes were relea...
