I bought this off eBay about 15 years ago; shipped from Italy...The story (don't they all have a story???) was that the father or grandfather of the seller carried this in his fishing tackle box... 11" OAL, flat blade, pivot bolster, black plastic scales, .130" thick blade......

...Actually, quite an old guy...but due to health concerns, I've been off for quite a bit... :(

What ever happened to SonnyBoy ? He suffered a period of ill health... :( In fact, he has been seriously considering selling off many (a couple dozen) of his autos to help pay doctors/hospital bills. He's back to work full time, but not 100% yet... Trying to get interested in metal fabrication agai...

I believe he did say that...

FWIW, I would base any estimate of authenticity on the tang stamp, not the blade etch...

It's interesting that there are so many people who bought 37 cent tang stamps, and when the price went up to 39 cents, instead of buying a dozen or so 2 cent tang stamps, they just put two 37 cent tang stamps on a tang letter... :roll:
