Re: For sale hand made AK-47 switchblade

So how much is it? The price isn't listed here or in your IG post. "kind of expensive" is a little vague.

Re: Bad Seller Warning

There is a guy named Ryan (can't remember last name) in Oklahoma who pops up on TB every year or two and rips someone off. He would switch his user name after getting called out. The last name I remember was RH but he also used names like HomerSimpson and MrMojo. They were generic internet names th...

That looks amazing, very nice work! When I saw what you started with I didn't think this was going anywhere, your finished knife is very impressive!

Got my box of 5 knives from Sky today, they are all outstanding. Super nice to deal with and great communication throughout, would absolutely deal with again.

Well actually the industrial revolution began well before 1868 but I'm sure you're right that this was not a cheap knife. The article on the Hubertus site says that the handles were made out of ivory.

Re: Grind Works Selling FAKE AKC knives?

It's a sad day when it's not obvious whether you are looking at a Chinese stiletto or an Italian one. Has the quality of Italian stilettos fallen so far that they are indistinguishable from the cheap Chinese copies?

Re: 1860's German Kris switchblade

How is the blade released? Hi John, hope alls well with you ,,, it appears to me that its a "tab" release , sort of like the old Voss and Klass knives, the tab lifts the backspring to fire. I say this looking at the notch in the blade tang area and some detail noted at the lock area. Cool picture !...

1860's German Kris switchblade

From the Hubertus website, "dagger switchblade", this was in a German cutlery catalog from 1868.

Re: Switchblades and automatics

Looks like I'm the guinea pig on this one lol. I bought two knives from Skyy.Blades for 216 shipped pp goods/services. No major red flags except for lack of history, but I haven't seen the facebook posts. Knives are supposed to ship tomorrow with tracking. I'll definitely let you guys know when I ge...

Re: Inside a broken Rizzuto

fairly common problem, I believe zinc or some other questionable metal was used for those and they don't hold up well, I've got one with the exact same problem.
