Ar;em: One option is to do what I did. Find the knife you want and have the scales replaced with black acrylic. There are a number of people here on the forum who could do that for you. I don't know if I'd want to do it to a Latama but replacing the scales on a Frank B. wouldn't be too sacrilegious....

Really adds that little something else to make the knife stand out from the crowd. Beautiful work Billl.

A while back I put together a set of FB dagger blade knives in ascending length and contacted Jeremy to have them all converted to black acrylic scales. He did his usual stellar work on creating a matched set. This was a "just for the heck of it" project and it turned out well. DonC https://i.imgur....

The coil spring hump backs have a totally different feel than the leaf springs. Nothing wrong with them, just feel different.

Like John, no complaints with any of my Renzo Beltrame knives. They've always been very nicely done.

Jules: The polishing is done with 1"X1/4" felt buff on a Dremel tool using 4 micron diamond paste. I don't have the skills to disassemble the knives to I just work around the parts that stick up. The gold hues come from shooting the photos on the floor under an old 75W flood mounted in a ceiling can...

You guys get to be test subjects. Just established an Imgur account to make up for PB and need to test it.
My small herd. I prefer stag that hasn't been shaved too much.
