They are not quality knives.
I would rather not do business with China, any other non democracy or authoritarian government. Our democracy may have it's faults but with courage and determination we can improve it.

"Anyone got 'em?"

You bet I do. Over the past year I have become a H-I Khukuri addict. Great knives and great service. Yangdu is the best.

The black out look is cool. But it does not stand up to repeated opening or use. It cool look looks crummy really quick. Just my $.02.

I carry a knife every single day of my life. I love knives, I love to collect them and to use them. I hope that I never have to use one in self defense. Because that would mean that I have enountered some thing that can't be stopped by 12 rounds of 357 Magnum 158 jhp's. Just a thought.

For heavy use, that is use other than opening mail, I have become a big fan of carbon steel. A2, M2, D2, O1, 1095, 5160, etc. I have two H.I. Khukuris that are made from recycled steel and they are my all time favorite hard use field knives. Could I afford that much ATS34?

Queen owns Schatt and Morgan, and they make excellent knives. Try Cumberland Knife works. http://www.cumberlandknifeworks.com/ Also check A.G. Russell, they have some nice ones as well. Funny thing about good slip joints, they have out lasted every other kind of folder that I have had under hard use.

The quality is the same as all MTs. Do yourself a huge favor and buy it from the BrightEdge. The owner stands behind what he sells and is well connected with MT.

A man's boat capsizes in the middle of the ocean. He washes up on a deserted island with nothing but the clothes on his back. He builds a small shelter and finds food and water, but he misses civilization more with each passing day. While walking on the beach one day, he sees a beautiful woman emerg...
